The Vice President Consumer Operations is primarily responsible for providing leadership and direction to the consumer operations team, focused on lending service and inside sales, to achieve the business plan, including quality sales and customer service while maintaining the appropriate financial risk profile balance. The VP Consumer Operations will: Provide strategy for the overall customer experience, sales delivery and credit function for the Consumer Lending Unit. Lead the centralized consumer operations team focused on lending service and inside sales Create a consumer customer care center Build a foundation for the team through performance coaching and effective goal setting Lead sales management strategy and call quality expectations Set and review metrics for Relationship use, database accuracy and maintenance, compliance, and credit administration Support the improvement of consumer lending processing, creating and revisiting best practices and continually improving workflowGo to our website MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES : Vice Presidents LEAD others and may lead leaders by: Being accountable for the performance and results of an organizational function Forming policy in area of responsibility Defining team operating standards and monitoring adherence to essential procedures Leading and coaching others, setting team's direction and deploying resources Exercising management authority in performance reviews, pay decisions, recruitment, discipline, and other employment decisions Achieving results by leading others of their team, as well as influencing and collaborating with team members in other areas of the organization Possess Maintaining technical expertise, business and industry knowledge and process development capabilities Developing processes and programs that promote an understanding of and positively contribute to the customer journey value stream, Farm Credit Mid-America\u2019s continuous improvement of the customer experience. Modeling organizational values, inspiring a shared vision and holding their teams accountable for culture preservation and growth Additionally, the VP Consumer Operations LEADS by: Contributing to the creation of and implementing strategies to execute the consumer lending business development plan and marketing plans. Developing the various markets available within consumer sales from a growth perspective. Aligns team and individual goals with association goals of sales production, loan quality, customer selection and financial results. Training, providing training for, and\/or reinforcing the necessary credit skills for a Consumer Loan Officer. Granting authorities and reviewing loans as required. Vice Presidents ADAPT by: Adjusting and executing functional or departmental business plans and contributing to the development of functional or departmental strategies in order to meet Association objectives Developing departmental plans, budgets and priorities that support the needs and goals of the next 5 years in area of responsibility Applying acquired expertise to analyze and solve problems without clear precedent Vice Presidents CONNECT by: Coordinating with cross-functional leaders to make recommendations or solve problems Providing technical guidance to employees, colleagues and\/or customers MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in business, agriculture or related field. Six years of progressively responsible sales\/credit experience, one to two years in a leadership role or having demonstrated leadership capabilities. Consumer lending\/credit experience preferred.
