This role is critical to the support of GSI Intersystems product, Bulkweighers, Samplers, Truck Probes and other products as customer needs arise, The daily requirements are to be the expert on Intersystem brand product from a sales, application and service viewpoint. The majority of the daily activities will happen at customer job sites, customer offices, and at manufacturing locations within GSI. This position will consistently require travel to customer sites, dealer sites, and other GSI sites in North America. Communicate with all Intersystems personnel regarding suggestions for improvements to products or services, or assistance with customer/Company documents. Maintain contacts and work with trade related vendors, associations, and regulators to support various product line equipment and services as provided by Intersystems. Provide technical support as required to Customer Service Manager and other department personnel on equipment or service trouble calls. Provide on-site technical support to GSI Dealers and their customers to assist in commissioning of new installations as well as problem diagnosis and resolution. Assist Callers with diagnosing problems, and providing guidance in correct operation and maintenance of Intersystems products.Keeping current with company changes in products. Entering cases as needed into Salesforce for future reference with product quality issues, product improvements and departmental usage. Assist Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and Sales to improve or correct issues with products. Provide training on the operation and maintenance of products to Dealers and users of the product.
*Scale experience (wiring up, programming, calibrating and working with local scale companies *Computer skills (wiring and installing hardware, setting up and programming loading software, communications from controller to PC. *Pneumatic experience working with hydraulics, air and electrical control systems *Troubleshooting experience working with end user customers and contractors over the phone or email and be on call 24/7 on repair or questions of all the above *NTEP keeping up with all type evaluations and testing for scale systems to be sold across (all Bulkweighers, fertilizer and weigh lorries) *Be able to provide field support on samplers, probes, dividers, screeners, bolted bins, microsystems and distributors
ability to work with Engineering to idrive corrective actions and long term improvments to products.
*Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Technical field preferred *Superior analytical skills with demonstrated ability to assess information coming from various sources and distill it into meaningful recommendations. *Self starter who takes the initiative and possesses a strong work ethic.Problem solver, visionary, detail oriented.Team player throughout the organization. *Strong written and oral communication skills.
