The marine product line is a broad array of equipment that makes enjoying the outdoors even better.Our newest line of products includes environmental equipment focused on the agricultural sector. We are looking for someone who not only understands and respects this segment of customers, but someone who can appreciate how much our products will enhance the working lives and the bottom line for growers. Our Director of Sales will have experience in agriculture and will know how to present our technological marvels to consumers and resellers who might not yet be convinced that technology can be an elegant, helpful, adaptable and easy to use tool for agricultural customers. This is a “hands on” job where you will come home with dust on your boots.Our Director of Sales will travel quite a bit (50%) but will work out of our home office in Hayward, where he or she can enjoy the close-knit and collaborative atmosphere.We are not a mega-company where your relationships with your colleagues are via email or across the conference table. We are a company where we eat lunch with the engineers who are designing the next improvement to our products. It’s a place where each person really matters, where you can make a real difference, and where we value the balance between work and family.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and oversee the execution of sales strategies and programs to achieve objectives regarding revenue, profitability and market share.Develop and implement strategies for selling environmental equipment and service into agricultural markets.Provide input to the management team on new product or service features to be developed to meet current and future customer needs.Make sales calls on key customers and resellers around the world.RequirementsAt least five years of sales experience in agricultural marketsBachelor’s degree, preferably in an agriculture-related field of studyProficient in EnglishDavis Instruments is an Equal
