Function: Product Engineering
Title: Engineer - 41227
As an Engineer for the Product Engineering Center, located in Waterloo, IA, you will shakedown and troubleshoot UUT's (Units Under Test) and test sequences. In addition, you will:
Verify test limits /shutdowns
Run tests and create test run work orders
Process data; verify quality and accuracy of data; create data analysis tools; analyze test data
Determine conclusions from testing - pass or fail
Perform root cause analysis for problem solving and failure resolution with Drivetrain Design
Generate test report

What Skills You Need
Experience in a role that required the use of negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Experience applying engineering principles, theory and practice
Ability and willingness to occasionally work off-shift and/or weekends to support business needs
What Makes You Stand Out
Other areas of experience or interest that will help us place you on the right team include:
Technical experience that includes an understanding of drivetrains
Test and / or data acquisition experience
Farming experience and /or technical experience related to the mechanics of Ag machinery
Project Management experience
Experience with root cause analysis
Experience using Matlab or other computer programming tools
Education (or equivalent work experience)
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent work experience in the following:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Agricultural or Electrical Engineering
