As the Professional Pest Management (PPM) Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing the sales efforts for the Mountain West territory. The Mountain West territory is comprised of the following states: AZ, CO, ID, MT, NV, NM, UT & WY. Your primary focus will be to build collaborative relationships, garner trust and drive the sales strategy, targeting the key end users in the territory. To be successful in this role, you will prioritize top end user and distributor sales rep field calls as well as the positioning of new products. Your challenge will be to gain market share in this extremely competitive market.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Achieve revenue and profit objectives delivered by robust business plans
- Develop and implement Go to Market strategies that support Brand Value
- Manage key end users and distributor sales representatives to achieve sales target
- Collaborate with Syngenta sales and marketing personnel to implement sales plan
- Execute sales and marketing plans to gain maximum market share within the territory
- Properly steward product portfolio by making sound recommendations to end users
- Proactively support the new product introduction process



- Bachelors Degree in Agriculture or related field preferred
- A minimum of 2 years of experience either in Field Sales or related technical capacity
- Technical knowledge of the product portfolio and of competitive products in the market
- Possess the ability to recognize competitive activities in the marketplace and the experience to effectively minimize impact without compromising profit targets
- Must be able to travel up to 80%

Additional Knowledge, Skills, Traits & Abilities:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are critical to this position
- The incumbent will need to be able to demonstrate innovative skills to develop new product opportunities for Syngenta
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Ability to develop Must Wins in the territory to drive outstanding results
