Utility Forester Supervisor
We are currently seeking a Utility Forester Supervisor

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for managing area circuit schedule for work planning progress & quality, ensuring timely completing prior to maintenance trimming by line clearance contractor.
Monitor key metrics & perform audits of work in progress to ensure and improve work quality by utility foresters.
Daily support and communication with Utility Foresters, including scheduling, problem solving, safety alerts & training, vehicle maintenance, etc. electronically & in the field.
Organizes and directs UFâ€™s when Storm Response Plan is implemented.
First responder to accidents or incident. Advises and instructs UF on what to do in situation in compliance with ECIâ€™s reporting guidelines.
Directs UFâ€™s for utility outage investigations when needed and ensure proper reporting back to utility.
Addresses disciplinary measures to UF if applicable. Assigns discipline as needed. Reports to corporate HR.
Works with programming group for developing and improving planning software, and implement new technology upgrades from IT.
Responsible for equipment assigned to area, including hardware (phones, computers, tablets, etc) hardware replacement and upgrades, employee PPE, etc.
Responsible for vehicles assigned to area, including maintenance, licensing, Smartsheet equipment log, Telogis monitoring (as needed), safety inspections, and safety equipment.
Lead investigator for Incident Reporting Process. Prepares and submits documents to corporate office.
Other duties as required.
A minimum of 1-year experience in utility vegetation management.
A minimum of 1-year experience in a supervisory role is highly desired.
Bachelorâ€™s or Associates degree in Forestry, Environmental Science or related field preferred.
Must have solid tree identification skills
Must be familiar with GIS Mapping Programs
Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, the ability to multi-task and an attention to detail.
Must be able to coach employees with difficult situations outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain.
Must have basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Certified ISA Arborist preferred.
Bi-lingual speaking (English and Spanish) is a plus.
