13294BRPosting Title:Strategy & Planning AnalystJob Posting:CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Country Operations division for a Strategy & Planning Analyst to be part of our Business Services Team. Your work will enable decision-making by delivering financial scenarios, analysis, recommendations and presentations that encompass the strategic outlook of the enterprise. You are self-motivated, inquisitive, detail oriented, able to work independently and think strategically, and have excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
Support Strategy identification activities with individual business units assuring alliance with CHS Strategy/Priorities.
Build presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and documents in support of the Business Services team members
Leading strategy and planning sessions within assigned business units.
Ensure plan execution with follow up process and procedures that drive accountability to the plan
Conduct external research related to economic and industry trends
Compile business case documents and identified metrics that align with identified strategies
Conduct ad hoc analysis and research as needed
Support Business Services leadership by collaborating with business units and CO on strategic fit, economic viability and investment opportunities.
Enable decision-making via the delivery of high impact analyses to business divisions and leadership.
Basic Qualifications (Required):
5 years’ experience in one of the following:
corporate finance and accounting
complex sales or financial planning
Experienced user of Microsoft products
Excel spreadsheets including data management, macros, and complex formulas
Ability to travel domestically up to 40% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (desired):
Bachelors degree in Business, Agriculture or other related field.
3-5 years of Project Management experience a plus.
2-3 years in M&A experience in either due diligence or integration roles.
Agriculture Industry and Market Research experience preferred.
